I was probably going to burn anyway, Michelle, but now that they pulled off the upset, it's a sure thing!
How dare you speak blasphemy on my beloved Cowboys...You shall burn for that one...*LOL*
Thanks, Clare. It hasn't always been that easy; over the years there have been a few bumps in the road, but it sounds like I've had a much easier time of it than you have. This is the first I've heard of a mother and son contracting HIV independently of each other, and I can only imagine what the two of you have been through. I'll ask around about the back issues of Poz. I think it helps to read about others out there, and the forums are a great support.
I like your blog - do you know where I can get old POZ mags to send to my son in South Africa?? or any other Gay/POZ magazines - it is amazing that I belong to a couple of sites and no one can help me.. I found out I was Pos at the tender age of 59.. my son found out he was Pos last year at age 34 ---how do you get over being depressed? I had cancer of the breast twice - had radiation and the whole 9 yards - when is enough enough? keep it up go on writing

Yes, it was a terrible shock to me to find out I was Pos..my then husband was and I believe still is very promiscuous. I was married for 26 yearso it is all very shocking. I came to America, met a wonderful Negative Texan and truly believed that there was a God. Anyway, my son (who is gay) had an ongoing 5 year relationship with a coloured man in South Africa, and that was the beginning of the end for him. Of course Eroll ran away after admitting that he had been unfaithful in the relationship and now my son is Pos. It has been almost too much for me to bear because in South Africa he has no support, and very old meds which can be stopped at the whim and fancy of an anti white government. I am trul;y at my wits end. He asked me for Pos material, and because he has no computer (too expensive in s.a.) he is unable to get on line..He found out he was Pos in December 2006. P.S. I forgot to mention that the word "coloured" as an accepted race in s.a. and they do not want to be called anything else.
