This is a brilliant explanation of an ongoing challenge: keeping our approach, and our mindset, fresh and willing to change. It also speak to allyship, especially in regards to cis white gay men like myself. Are you having trouble getting diverse community participation in your program, at your event, or on your panel? Try harder. The fact something merely exists "for" a community doesn't mean your work is done. You must lower the hurdles they must jump to get there. It takes effort.
