Did HIV Contribute to Heywood's Cancer?

Wondering if there are also increased rates of oral cancer (throat, mouth, tongue) among people with HIV, and generally among men who have sex with men even if negative for HIV? I am guessing that it could be related to HPV and oral sex, but not sure? Anecdotally, I've known several gay men (of all statuses) who have had oral cancers. Thanks for any information you can provide.

3 years ago I was coming out of 8 chemos, 60 radiation hits and several surgeries that included the loss of my thyroid for 4 kinds of cancer in 5 places not including a lot of skin cancer. Just turned 67, poz for 42 years now. Quit smoking 13 years ago and none of this was lung.
