Just because some people are careless or intentionally infect others doesnt mean i should be punished or anyone else for that matter. But what can we do? to change the system

i knew that Obama was less a savior and more a middle-of-the-road opportunist Democrat, yet I still held out hope that he would correct this injustice. the exact wording of these regulations and certifications bespeaks a cold, calculating cynicism...it's clear to me now that Obama considers the LGBT community to be just one more problematic constituency to placate or sell-out as needed. I hope the Queer community wakes up from this soporific honeymoon period, and takes this President to task...we lost too much time standing around in shock back when Clinton showed similar spinelessness in 1993! on a separate note, i'm also horrfied to learn that the Korematsu decision is still the law of the land...clearly Democrats and Republicans both have a casual (dis)regard for Freedom and Justice.
