I don't know exactlty what to say, except you blew me away. Your story was amazing. I am new to this website and like you have been positive for 20 + years. I however was very lucky to have found love to a wonderful man for the last 15 years. Now, for the last 8 months find myself single and alone, kinda strange in this new world(for me) of on-line dating. I plan to be on the party boat(positive event by another group ) Saturday in the city with some friends, maybe I will met you there.
DAVID.. WOW WHAT A BLOG...WHEN GOD CALLS YOU GO ...LOL HAVE A GREAT DAY ROBERT WWW.POZIAM.COM
David, oh David......you blow me away! This time you're even more intriguing and exciting than usual. You might not remember me, but Im the Swedish girl who had to go back to the Philippines and defrost her fingers, before she could go on writing. I said I'd get back to you some day and today is that day. I've been reading your blog religiously and on several occations Ive come close to writing a comment, but didnt think it was for the entire POZ world to read. This time I just cant help it. I dont know if its appropriate to accuse God of stealing, but Im gonna do it anyway. "God stole my idea....or read my mind, whichever. The thought has come as close as my fingertips..... If I hadn't lived so bloody far away from Madison Avenue, I would probably have left my fantasy comfort zone by now. What could I loose? A rejection in Cyber space, isn't half as bad as in the real world,I think. I must dissapoint you by admitting that Im not blonde, but a brunett, and my assets are more in the front. On the other hand Im all for Indian food (all Asian actually) and I would happily pay for a room..... :-) If you're ever in this islandhood, you're more than welcome. Out of 7,107 islands, I live on the most beautiful one, and thats all you need to know to find it. Bring Ginger and Cupcake if you feel like. There's space enough... and the more the merrier. I have no-near-future plans of visiting N.Y, but when I do, dont be surprised if you'll get an e-mail, asking you to meet a brunette Angel without wings in the Midtown area. ~j~ I just recieved a sms from a friend here on the island and it said; Please be informed that typhoon "FRANK" will pass the island northward within next 24 hours./ winds 120/ possible direct hit. Plan ahead. Be safe. I've lived here for the past 24 years and had my share of bad weather. I hate to bitch, but these are the times when I wish my house wasn't right on the beach. The only thing protecting it from the ocean winds are some Palm trees, an Avocado and a couple of Mango trees. The rest turned into match sticks or were pretty badly beaten up during the last typhoon. We've had rain and thunder the whole day. My dogs are curling up by my feet. They know it and I know it. Its the smell in the air that's telling us..... something is coming. ... I might be blown away for good. Just keep on writing in the same witty and intelligent way, because Im pretty sure there are more of us out there, who'd be dissapointed if you didn't.
Thanks, Jenny, and yes, as of this moment I am very well and very much among the living. All else being equal, if your son takes his meds he'll have that long and happy life you wish for him.
David I really hope that you are alive and kicking after 29 years with HIV because that gives me real hope - My son has just recently told me he is HIV pos and as he is 30 and his partner 24 it was quite a shock I am trying to read everything and learn everything I can about HIV and AIDS so you have truly given me hope that maybe with the right care my son will be able to live a long and happy life
