It's extremely troubling to cast any shade on Ryan White and how he educated. He never drew any distinction between how he contracted HIV and how others did. It was the media that positioned him as "innocent victim". Admirably, from childhood to his teenage years to the final four months and two days of his life lived as an adult, Ryan used his position to educate against that stream.
