I am still in shock! What a substantial loss for the HIV Community and the World in general. Cornelius was a true powerhouse. His reach extended far and wide. Rest in Peace. You are so missed!

I met Cornelius Baker in person at the dinner for long-term survivors, at AIDSWatch 2024. He was sitting at a table by himself, and I asked if I could sit with him. He and I talked about issues unique to LTS'ers, and about life in general. He was humble but very supportive, and I was hoping to reconnect in the future. He seemed in very good health; I'm still shocked and saddened at his passing. I will attend the next AIDSWatch. I will speak out for all who aren't able to. Thank you Cornelius!
