Make this a better article. That greedy mark up is draining Medicare and Medicaid budgets. Republicans want to cut benefits when cutting out or regulating these middlemen would solve the budget problem with no need to cut benefits. Health insurance costs would be reduced for everyone, and reduce insurance rates. It has been the politicians we elected who gave this gift to the middlemen very likely because of generous campaign donations. This finding is not at all new to our political leaders.
