Q’s comments from her interview about divulging her personal health news were outta sight! And that ancient catch phrase is being told by an AIDS survivor who has lived with the virus more than half of my 70 years. The article, perhaps edited and therefore possibly modifying Q’s original intent, implied that anyone who contracted HIV during the ‘80s or ‘90s has been dead since that tragic, late20th Century pandemic. But to modify the lyrics of the Gay National Anthem a teensy bit, I DID SURVIVE!
