Ben in Daytona, ibuprofen counter-acts the blood thinning properties of aspirin. It can actually make your blood thicker. You might want to talk to your doctor about what's best to treat pain.
Well, since I've had two open-heart surgeries, I take my aspirin along with Plavix. Since I'm also a diabetic, I have to prick my finger, and it makes bleeding easier. I nearly didn't survive the last heart surgery, so it's very important to take your meds, and follow doctor's orders.
I use Advil often for pain, specifically, pain to my feet. how does ibuprofen (Advil) affect a low dose aspirin regimin?
So this is why my friend told me to take aspirin! I was told this years ago, and just cannot remember to buy them & take it along with the meds I have.

Aspirin. OK, how much Aspirin? One tablet? Will children's aspirin do? Swallow? Chew? Ask the doctor?
