In the U.S., vaccinations may be given and paid for by insurance based on what federal guidelines allow. So for men older than age 45, the HPV vaccination (actually two injections at different times) is NOT available unless you wish to pay over $300/each, plus the cost of administering the vaccination that sometimes is tacked on.
Is it one of those cases where its cost prohibitive? Or is it not covered by medicare? I get a flu shot every year primarily due to it being covered by medicare
