The mistake she made was not disclosing her hiv status to the person she was dating. I understand she was afraid to disclose that information out of fear, but it's the responsibility and chance you have to take. No one wants to be rejected but it's reality. I've learned from experience. Always disclose your hiv status. It's unfortunate that the university expelled her. They should've at least made sure she had some place to go. I hope she has success with the court case.
