This is my 40th year of being HIV+. Although staying alive was my motivation to always take my HIV meds, perhaps missing 10 doses total during those 40 years, being rewarded with $2K every year for doing so would be great. Why discriminate against those with Medicare, Medicaid or other insurances when it is highly unlikely that anyone without insurance or someone receiving free HIV meds would be able to afford them at all?
