I've been HIV+, since '93. I have survived pneumocystis, and toxoplasmosis. My milestone is every September, where I celebrate my next year with hiv, which, next year, will be year 32! I am a 57 year old transwoman, who, watched 'And the Band Played On' by myself, when my family was out doing the thing they did, and left me home alone. Needless to say, I was sobbing by the end of it! But, the one thing my mom praises dr. Francis, played by Matthew Modine in the movie, and
